Front Gate of Old Baldy Club, Saratoga, WY |
Clint and I recently traveled from Kansas City to Saratoga, WY to visit Clint's Aunt Pam and Uncle Vic Gallagher. They were kind enough to let us stay with them at Old Baldy Club from Wednesday, August 11th to Sunday, August 15th.
We enjoyed a beautiful float down (or up) the North Platte River with 2 fly rods, 1 fishing guide, and >10 boated trout.

We ended our float at the "Old Baldy Club Picnic", which was a great atmosphere with good food, and we met some new friends as well.

We enjoyed some time at the pool, and quite a bit of time on the driving range as well. I played my first round of golf and shot a 78, on the front 9. I learned that my short game is better than my drives- I hit my 7 iron right over this lake and onto the green!

Nice shot from 100 yds over the water and 5' from the pin. |

We also hiked to the Summit of Medicine Bow Peak (12,000 ft) in Snowy Range.

On the last morning Vic and Pam were nice enough to play a few holes of golf with Clint and I, and we were shown that playing golf daily in beautiful Saratoga really plays off- they were good!!
